GOLD SCHEME GUARANTEE
Mike's Music Gold Scheme Guarantee has been designed, as part of our after sales policy to give peace of mind to customers who purchase woodwind, Brass & Classical String instruments.
All the items that include the guarantee are marked, and a special Guarantee card will be supplied with your purchase.
What is covered?
Our Gold Scheme is a full
3-year parts and labour guarantee that covers the instrument
against any breakdown, due to a manufacturing or regulation
fault, that occurs during normal use.
Gold Scheme customers bringing items in for repairs taking more
than 7 days are entitled to a loan instrument of the same type,
(subject to availability).
What's not covered?
Accidental or malicious damage, loss or theft are not included. We can help you to protect yourself against such events, as we are agents of British Reserve Insurance.
Cover does not include the cosmetic finish (such as the lacquer, enamel or silver plate) as this often depends upon how the instrument is treated. We cannot ensure that the instrument will be cleaned correctly, dried after each use, and stored safely.
This cover will only be provided so long as our recommended service and maintenance periods are adhered to and the service work is carried out by one of our technicians.
Cracks in woodwind instruments, after the first year, will either be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
Instruments for repair under guarantee must be returned to, and collected from, Mike's Music. We can arrange fully insured collection and delivery, at cost, if required.
