School and Band Schemes

Mike's Music does a great deal of business with schools and bands, and because of the large numbers of instruments involved can often offer particularly good prices and terms. It is especially important for us to encourage music in schools, for from where will our future customers come if students do not develop a love of music while young. Mike's Music's staff are friends with, play in the same band as, went to school with, or are otherwise in contact with many of the best local musicians, instrument makers and teachers. We can sometimes arrange demonstrations of instruments or visits by instrument specialists or top players. Similarly if you have any assets to share with others, an orchestra to play for functions or seeking players, practice rooms available out of school hours, music clubs or classes open to outsiders, we will pass your details on. Whatever your organization, please contact us to see if we can arrange something to suit your needs.

Low Cost Musical Instrument Rental

Dear Music Teacher,

We are writing to remind you of the goods and services Mike's Music offers to you and your students over the coming year.

Please examine our acclaimed low cost rental scheme, and if you agree that it offers good value, give details of it to any pupil considering rental. We have held prices for the fourth year in a row. Should you require printed copies of rental leaflets please let us know.

We are very happy to still be able to supply your pupils with instruments and equipment on VAT exempt schemes. The rules governing this are quite strict, but most state schools in the UK should be able to benefit.

 

NEW RENTAL SCHEME AVAILABLE with FREE rental Period

In addition to our standard rental scheme mentioned above, we have developed a new rental scheme. This scheme starts with an initial FREE period of rental, followed by low monthly rental payments when the pupil carries on. Discounts and favourable purclaase terms are also available as you may expect.

We are proud of this scheme as it does not exclude low income families nor does it put pressure on people to buy expensive instruments by way of pre signed credit agreements. This scheme is being piloted by us in several schools at present, if you would like us to offer it to your pupils please contact Mike Bosley for further details

 

FREE REPAIRS TO SCHOOL INSTRUMENTS

This year we offering FREE repairs to school instruments as a bonus to schools who's pupils rent with us. For every new rental customer who takes a 3 month rental we will credit the school (as listed on our contract) with a repair credit of £5.00 per new rental. These credits can be exchanged with us for work carried out on any BRASS, WOODWIND, STRING or PERCUSSION instruments and will be deducted from our standard charges before invoicing on request.
