User-Friendly Interface
Recording is handled through an intuitive process,
simply by looking at the operation panel. Unlike
conventional digital recorders, the concept of an
input mixer and bus has been done away with, making a
recording system so easy that even first-time users
will find themselves turning out quality recordings
without even opening the manual.
Diverse effects accommodate any type of recording
source
The optimum effect algorithm is automatically selected
in response to the instrument (Guitar/Bass, Mic, Line,
Simul) connected to the input jack.
In addition to Reverb and Chorus/Delay effects, which
can also be used as global effects, an equaliser is
provided, which is particularly effective during final
mixdown.
8-Track Digital Recorder
8-track digital recorder incorporating the
highly-acclaimed design of the VS series, with its
emphasis on superb sound quality.
8-track recording on each V-track, for a total of 64
tracks.
Simultaneous 8-track playback, along with simultaneous
dual-track recording.
Easy Onboard Rhythm Guide
Numerous simplified rhythm backing patterns are built
in to facilitate "backing" recording.
(Because this rhythm track is separate from the eight
playback tracks, it does not use the Zip memory.)
Phrase Trainer Provided
A phrase trainer function makes it possible to play
back phrases at half the normal speed, without
affecting the pitch, so that guitarists can practice
certain phrases. In addition, a Centre Cancel function
lets you delete vocals, making it easy to put together
a karaoke track.
